Job Summary

The Quality Control Officer is responsible for the day-to- day shift operations compliance to the company’s quality policies and quality standards. Monitors qualities of incoming and in process raw material, WIP and end products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply the right lab procedure and conduct quality analysis on row materials coming in to the factory.

• Monitor day-to-day  raw materials, in  process materials  and finished products in reference to the standard and minimize  waste.

• Apply the right lab procedure and conduct analysis WIPs comply with the company’s.

• Identify process and product non-conformities and report to the quality control manager for subsequent actions

• Properly handle the lab equipment’s and devices and ensure its calibration.

• Maintain records and documents of tests conducted. Ensure that records show complete history of the material tested

• Monitors products being packed and dispatched qualify the company specification.

• Monitors that expired inputs and substandard inputs go in to the production cycle.

• Execute similar other activities when advised by the Senior quality controller.

• Cleaning and sanitation of working environment shall be ensured.

Job Requirements

COMPETENCIES: -

• Good food chemistry and processing Knowledge.

• Good skill in operating laboratory equipment.

• Good computer skill.

• Good reporting skill.

Education : -

• BSC degree in Applied Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Food Science

Experience: -

• 2+ Year Experience advantages in Food & Beverages industries
