Job Title: Senior Cost Accountant

Main Responsibility

·       Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization;

·       Comply with Accounting Principles, rules and regulations for financial statements;

·       Analyze any changes in goods or services provided in order to determine what effect it has on the cost;

·       Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs;

·       Analyze costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs;

·       Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services;

·       Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database;

·       Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings;

·       Prepare and complete internal cost audits and construct data accumulation systems;

·       Determine fixed costs (e.g., salaries, rent and insurance) and record variable costs (e.g., purchases of raw material and operations costs);

·       Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program;

·       Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies;

·       Prepare and analyze report profit margins and budgeting reports;

·       Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts;

·       Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions

Skills & Abilities

·       Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role;

·       Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures;

·       In-depth understanding of IFRS;

·       Experience with accounting software, and Computer literacy in MS Excel;

·       Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail;

·       Strong time management skills;

·       knowledge in using ERP system;

·       Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information;

 Academic Qualification

·       BA Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, preferably in the manufacturing sector

 Experience: 5+ years of experience in a related area.
