Job Description

Purpose:

• Under the supervision of the Fleet Manager produce timely and in-need reports, utilize GPS system to monitor vehicles' operational efficiency, manage the department budgets for an assigned unit,  analyze and ensure vehicle utilization reports are within standards, and manage contract services agreements.  

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Generate vehicle utilization reports; Monthly fuel consumption, vehicle repair costs, KM coverage, driving behavior violation, vehicle accident encountered, vehicles under repair, meter taxi usage, and others.

• Manage the department budgets for an assigned unit including operating requirements, equipment purchases, parts, and supply purchases, and ensures that actual expenses are consistent with the approved budget.

• Properly utilize a GPS system to monitor vehicles' operational efficiency and to generate operational reports.

• Oversee and manage the coordination of contract services agreements with outside fleet contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

• Follow-up payment of outside fleet contractors, vendors, and suppliers to be paid on time.

• Responsible for developing and deploying initial and ongoing driver safety training and qualification programs. This includes existing employees, new hires, and reclassified employees.

• Oversee and manage the coordination of contract services agreements with outside fleet contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

• Proper documentation of all the department activities.

• Perform other additional assigned tasks. 

Job Requirements

Education:

• University Degree in Transport/Fleet Management, Automotive engineering, or equivalent.

Work Experience: 

• 2 years of work experience in a similar position, 2nd Grade driving license
