Job Description
Industrial Engineer
Our client a manufacturer based in Adama that makes building materials from plastic waste is looking forward to hiring an Industrial Engineer. With a focus on sustainability and are environmentally conscious by producing safe, durable, and affordable building materials while reducing carbon and plastic footprints.
Key Accountabilities
Lead factory production lead operators
Train and supervise factory production operators
Quality control of the production process
Communicate with upper management on daily production issues
Provide daily status of production to management
Review production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
Coordinate with Supply Chain Supervisor to ensure seamless production
Report factory metrics to Management on a daily basis
Qualifications
4 year Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred
5+ years of experience leading in the manufacturing industry
Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards (including setting up, maintenance, and design)
Ability to Train factory staff for new processes and provide instructions and manuals
Fluent in Amharic, English, and Oromingia
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Experience managing process documentation and preparing production reports.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Resident of Adama
Desirable Skills

Has troubleshooting expertise and attention to detail.
eliminate wastefulness in production processes and make sure systems make the best-integrated use of workers, machines, materials, information, and energy.
Critical thinker and has problem-solving skills.
