Job Description
1. Develop and implement the procurement/purchasing, supply and management policies and procedures of current and plant assets of the company.
2. process bidding process and contract for vendor performance/compliance within established limits (e.g. prepare specifications, evaluate bids, recommend vendors, participate in bid meetings, etc.) for the purpose of securing items and/or services within budget and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Collect data from a wide variety of sources (vendors, work units, etc.) for the purpose of analyzing issues, ensuring compliance with a wide variety of purchasing policies and procedures, and/or monitoring purchasing processes.
4. Maintains purchasing information, files and records (purchase requisition, purchase orders, vender files, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
5. Follow through purchasing processes (e.g. orders, work orders and requisitions for supplies, equipment, bids for potential commodities, supplies equipment and services, etc.) for the purpose of acquiring necessary resources to support company’s operation.
6. Processes purchasing-related information (e.g. bid documents, tabulations, requisitions, electronic procurement, product specifications, performance terms, contracts, etc.) for the purpose of updating and distributing information, authorizing for action and/or complying with established accounting practices.
7. Researches contracts, suppliers, equipment and regulations, including evaluation of new products for the purpose of analyzing information to determine product and/or service need and availability as necessary.
8. Serves as liaison with vendors (e.g. telephone service, cell service, fuel, office supplies, etc.) for the purpose of monitoring and consolidation of orders for better management of expenses.
9. Prepares and submits periodic report to the CFO.
10. Undertakes other duties as assigned by the CFO.
-BA in Procurement and supplies management, Business Administration with at least four years related work experience or Diploma in Procurement and or Supplies Management with at least six years related work experience.
