Position description

• Ensure that daily/weekly/ monthly production plan is achieved.
• Execute to execute the periodic production plan, coordinate, and control the production process.
• Organize the staff requirement, input, raw material, and machinery availability for the production plan
• Supervise and lead the production process and quality of product of product produced
• Plan, Supervise and implement proper preventive and planned production machine maintenance.
• Supervise and cross check the quality and volume of finished goods produced
• Ensure the implementation of Safety, standard and 5S requirements 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand the daily/weekly/monthly production plan and communicate the production plan to the production team.
• Ensure to maintain the minimum order quantity of all inputs; raw materials and packaging materials required for the entire production in consultation with the department manager.
• Ensure the proper receiving and storage of raw materials for the production process from in the production floor.
• Organize production workflow, assigning production team as per the production plan for each production line. 
• Supervise and monitor the production team on each production line for their respective productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching for respective performance.
• Ensure that the production output is according to the specifications and quality standards set by the company as well as the approved BOM.
• Ensure that there is safe use of equipment and machines in the production floor.
• Ensure that there is proper planed and breakdown machine maintenance and machine availability to back the daily/weekly/monthly production plan.
• Ensure to supervise and lead the maintenance team. 
• Ensure that there are always timely updated records of raw materials, production in progress, finished good products and maintenance activities. 
• Prepare and submit periodic performance reports of production and maintenance activities.
• Identify issues of production inefficiency and suggest improvements to the department manager.
• Identify issues of machine maintenance and machine availability and suggest improvements to the department manager. 

• Organize training activities on production process and machinery maintenance for new employees.
• Enforce the implementation of safety guidelines and company standard operating procedures in the production process and production floor.
• Ensure the proper use of production batch ticket for all products produced as per the required standards.
• Ensure the proper implementation of 5S in the production floor.
• Receive and respond to complaints on production quality and production defects in support with other stakeholders and resolve problems accordingly in consultation with the department manager.

• Master’s degree in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field with three (3) years of relevant work experience out of which 2 years’ experience on supervisory level or Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field with five (5) years of relevant work experience out of which 2 years’ experience on supervisory level.
• Exposure with similar working environment is desirable.
• Experience in manufacturing company is required.
