Job Description
The website administrator is responsible to manage, maintain, update and back up the website of the Bank so as to ensure that the website is up-to-date, operating securely and at an optimum speed. The website administrator creates and updates the website contents that are harmonious with the Bank’s overall objectives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Monitoring web traffic statistics such as page views, bandwidth consumption, and click through rates
Maintaining and updating current content on the website to ensure it is relevant to users’ needs and informative in conveying the Bank’s message
Analyzing data to determine what content should be added to the website to increase traffic or improve conversion rates
Coordinate with web developers, graphic designers or information technology professionals and ensure that all aspects of the website maintenance or upgrade or new page design and development projects are completed on time and in accord with the Bank’s requirement
Providing customer support through email or phone to answer questions or address concerns
Setting up user accounts and providing customer service to customers who use the website
Reviewing analytics data to determine which keywords or topics are generating the most interest from users
Creating and maintaining databases of customer information and other business records
Performs other related activities as might be given to him from time to time by his immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Web Design, Marketing or another related field of study
Certificate or knowledge in graphic design tools such as illustrator or Photoshop is mandatory
Certificate or knowledge of programming languages such as JAVA, HTML, Python, SQL, and others is advantageous
Required Experience
A minimum of 3 years proven work experience as website administration is required
Technical and Behavioral competencies
Skills to manage the website’s software, hardware and security
Understand how to update the website’s content
Understand how to manage the website’s hosting
Understand how to protect the website from cyberattacks
Effective communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and
Be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
