• Kerchanshe Trading P.L.C is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets.  Currently our company needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

Job Summary

• Junior mechanical officer build and test mechanical devices of all types.

• Junior mechanical officer are usually considered entry level employees and report to senior mechanical officer. The calculations must be retested to make sure they work and when problems are found, the junior mechanical officer must re-engineer the materials to return them to full function.

Job Description

• Manages engineering tooling drawings

• Liaison to outside tooling and support services

• Tool, jig, and fixture design to support production continuous improvement

• Automation of existing processes

• Facilities engineering and support

• Apply basic engineering principles to a variety of transit and support projects

• Support technical research, specification development, quantity calculations, field inspection and testing programs

• Provide technical  support in preparation of technical specifications for functional, sub system testing, maintenance and training requirements for vehicle or subsystem procurements or overhauls

• Conduct environmental tests such as thermal, shock and vibration

• Directly support internal customers in detailed part design, hands-on prototype fabrication and product evaluation·     

• Utilize creative and conceptual thinking skills to solve technical problems and achieve gains in production performance, cost, and reliability

• Utilize calculations, simulation, and other quantitative tools to make root cause determinations

Job Requirements

Qualification

• Level 4/Diploma  in auto Mechanic, General mechanic and other related fields  with 2/1 years’ Experience as working in a similar workshop/maintenance environment

•  Excellent communications skills and ability to coordinate, train, and supervise subordinates at multiple locations simultaneously;
