Job Purpose:

An account manager is responsible for the sales and distribution of a Solution’s the company offers by ensuring the continued growth of the company’s sales process in his or her assigned area.

Responsible for all aspects of a customer’s relationship with a company. They therefore work closely with all customer-facing departments in a company to ensure that each customer receives the highest standards of service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success

  • Develop positive relationships with clients

  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs

  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks

  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner

  • Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase

  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions

  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives

  • Document clearly complaints, issues, and problems with sales process for future review

  • Identify opportunities for sales improvement

  • Secure sales orders

  • Engage in sales forecast

  • Assist customers and educate them on the benefit of company’s Solutions

  • Ensure achievement of sales targets

  • Deliver presentations on sales to superior executives

  • Attend client meetings

  • Maintain relationships with existing clients

  • Expand relationships with potential clients

  • Complete administrative work as required

  • Generate new business with the use of existing company’s network contacts

  • Lead other members of the account team

  • Ensure that solutions are successfully and timely delivered to customers and according to their specifications

  • Regularly communicate to internal and external stakeholders on the progress of initiatives employed on sales activities

  • Track key account metrics

  • Identify and develop opportunities

  • Collaborate with sales team in order to ensure attainment of growth

  • Present reports on sale opportunity pipe lines on weekly basis

  • Should be responsive to any other Task/Activities assigned by the Department Director/ Division Manager

Minimum Requirements for The Job:

  • Confident and highly motivated individual with a proactive attitude

  • High levels of attention to detail

  • Ability to manage workloads efficiently and meet multiple deadlines

  • A self-starter, multitasker who works well under pressure, able to demonstrate high

  • levels of initiative and motivation and also work closely with other team members

  • Ability to influence and persuade others

  • Interest in and commitment to, the success of the firm

  • The flexibility to work outside normal office hours as may be required from time-to-time

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, Public Relations, or something similar

  • Experience 2 years and above
