Scope of Role
The Senior Sales Data Analyst collects and analyzes external and internal data, both qualitative and quantitative, for sales & distribution reports to provide requested information and insight reports regarding the market, channel, customers and consumers. The position holder will be responsible for the development of periodic sales analytics and reports on performance, execution and activations and the effective implementation and use of an automated sales system and a continuously monitor the performance, use and development of the system.
Purpose of Role
This role continuously develops analytics and report on daily, weekly and monthly performances of all sales areas. Provide insights on performance gaps for improvement, look for opportunities and provide suggestions.
Follow up of market trend and practices including but not limited to competitors trade practices, consumption trends, and provide alternative suggestions.
Manage the implementation of the sales tracking system and continuously follow up the effective use of the system and strive to improve the system performance and scope to provide as more and as precise information as possible.
Plan and give a quarterly, and annual training plan for Agent and company sales team on system use. Undertake periodic data verification and validation of the sales and other data provided registered by the team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Sales reporting, performance management, analytics and forecasting: the Senior Sales data analyst is responsible for a periodic report development of sales performance by route, territory and region, develop analytics on the performance of the sales regions, track and report on trade practices, consumption trends, performance and impact of activations, develop volume forecast and communicate on time.
Data base management: The positon holder will be responsible to train the sales team on the sales tracking system, follow up on the implementation system, make sure the system is functional in all areas and system utilization is at 100% effecient all time. Continuously test the system for improvement and work with the vender for changes. Undertake data validation of the sales and other data registered traveling through all market the company is selling.
Area demarcation/route optimization: the Senior Sales Analyst is responsible for demarcating distribution territories and identifying potential optimizations, suggesting route alternatives and periodically reviewing the ideal locations for warehouses.
Research: plan and implement periodic and ad hoc research on competition, pricing, consumption trends, consumer behavior, market growth, POSM use efficiency.
Team work and participation: promote an open, honest and respectful communication culture with in the team. Participate in team development. Plan and execute sales system use training from time to time.
Qualification and Experience Required
BA or BSC degree or higher with a minimum of (4) Four-Years of experience in Sales Administration and analytics.
Good analytical skills, result oriented, quick learner,
Entrepreneurial mind set, team player excited to contribute to help build the future Komari.
Strong interpersonal, communication and basic report writing skill.
well organized and profficent using MS. Office pakages [Excel, Word, Power point and outlook].
Self-starter and result oriented.
