Job Description
Purpose Statement
Jr. Brand Manager is responsible to ensure the business is presenting the brand correctly in all area of track the key drivers of Brand performance, including Sales, marketing KPIs and competitor performance, use insights to develop course correction plans as appropriate to ensure targets are met;
Duties and Responsibility
Track the key drivers of brand performance, including Sales, marketing KPIs and competitor performance,
use insights to develop course correction plans as appropriate to ensure targets are met;
Manage all elements of the Marketing Mix to maximize performance in market
Lead the development and roll-out of the brand support package and ensure the support materials support the brand positioning and acting
Lead the development of all POS that may be required across the categories;
Meet with stakeholders to determine brand objectives and strategies
Research markets and study the company’s brand
Present and execute creative ideas for marketing activities
Coordinate sales, product development and other teams
Track budgets with an eye towards maximizing gains and reducing costs
Evidence of product development experience and the bringing to market of initiatives
Ensure innovation opportunities are based on a sound understanding of the Market potential and growth, Consumer demand and need, Raw material and production capability
Ensure current range stays one step ahead of its competitors as well as being relevant to consumer and customer through the key levers: quality, price and volume.
To always look to question, learn, and look for better ways to do things;
To clearly and logically think with a strong numeric ability.
Qualifications
MA/ BA Degree in Marketing, Marketing management or related field of study with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience as Jr. Brand Manager or equivalent capacity preferably in FMCG.
