Assistant Auditors are mainly responsible for audit documentation of an audit evidence by preparing audit sample design and performing detail analysis in accordance with HST Audit Approach Manual. Our audit approach is a risk-based approach, based on International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

Main responsibilities

  • Assist and carry out audit activities of various audit clients within a set budget under the supervision of the audit senior.

  • Collecting and analyzing audit evidence, checking client accounts, identifying financial risks, reviewing records for accuracy and completeness. 

  • Identifying deficiencies observed during the audit and communicate them to the audit senior, manager, or partner.

  • Analyze the internal controls of an audit client and provide suggestions and recommendations for improvements in internal controls.

  • Develop a good relationship with a client to ensure that the audit process remains smooth and efficient.

  • Effectively address audit reviews raised by an Audit Senior on a timely manner.

  • Make sure that all sample audit transactions are tested sufficiently in accordance with HST’s audit Approach Manual and are documented in automated audit working paper.

  • Communicate with clients and solve any audit issues raised in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

Education and Skills Required

  • BA degree in Accounting and Finance  

  • Graduating student of the academic year 2021/22. Cumulative GPA 3.0 and above.  

  • Good written and verbal communication skill.
