Job Summary
SYS| Shayashone is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for a Business Communicaion Officer position which of the job descriptions and competency requirements are listed below.
Duties and Responsibilities
Communicate different project statuses
Developing high-standard quarterly project newsletters and monthly project updates
Preparing and sharing weekly project updates with stakeholders
Updating social media groups (Whatsapp, Facebook) on the status of the different project activities
Company Branding and Promotion
Develop content and maintain the company website updated
Prepare company promotional material, including brochures, videos, etc
Develop and implement strategies to increase and improve public outreach
Promoting the company by attending events/meetings
Perform other duties related to branding and promotion of the company as required
Facilitating Business Meetings/Workshops/Training
Take event notes and prepare reports
Prepare a list of event attendees with the company teams
Prepare invitation letters and delivering to invitees via email, phone calls, and in-person
Facilitate with event logistics and other related arrangements
Track and record attendees' information
Other: Medical and Life Insurance with a limit
Data Analytics
Collecting relevant data from appropriate sources both in persona and online.
Disseminating research questioners and other similar required information to a targeted group of people
Creating a database for recurring information required by the company for strategic decision making
Develop content for marketing and promotion of the company
Undertaking data analysis to aid company business decisions and research activities

Duty station: Addis Ababa with frequent travel within Ethiopia

Reports to: General Manager
Education, Work experience, and Language
BA or Masters in Business and Economics, Social Science and related studies
At least 4 years for a BA degree and 2 years for master- experience in business communication, digital marketing, and public relations
Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Excellent communication and writing skills in English
Outstanding diplomatic, influence, and persuasion skills to sell products and services.
Mastery in demonstrating personal effectiveness.
Outstanding skills in planning, organizing, and reporting.
Strong analytical and critical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Champions in fostering partnership and stakeholder relationships.
Ability to perform under stress with minimal supervision and able to handle multiple tasks at a time in a calm and organized manner.
Hands-on and proactive approach.
Technical Competencies
Proven track record in project communication.
Proficient English writing and speaking skills
Designing skills by using appropriate software
Experience/basic skill in website updating
Preferred Age Range: 25-30 years
