Job Description

Sales Capability Manager is responsible for the enhancement of the knowledge Skill and performance of the sales team through training coaching mentoring and follow ups.

He/she is responsible for developing and implementing coaching and training programs, building sustainable business improvements, and leading specific business and organizational transformation projects. The role holder also is expected to acknowledge/award best performers and give special attention and follow ups for least performers.

  •  Proactively develop and implement internal and external business development strategies to achieve business growth and financial objectives.

  • Collaborating with HR Carry out periodic and timely training need analysis as per the business requirement using the various tools and instruments to measure the levels of knowledge and skills within the sales team and feedback from the sales team.

  • In collaboration with the HR Develop the training calendar and content for the sales team based on the identified needs.

  • Design and develop customized training modules and training solutions to suit the specific and generic needs of the organization; facilitate training of employees and intermediaries as per the training calendar.

  • Track spending of training budget, report capability scores and related data as well as skill level tracker in specified format to the concerned body.

  •  Execute effective coaching of sales team throughout the Region to increase Sales capability and performance

  • Coach and develop sales team to ensure effective customer conversations, including lending conversations.

  • Diagnose capability gaps or effectiveness Issues within the current Route to Market

  • Develop, deploy and deliver results from systematic process/capabilities improvements

  • Lift organizational capability to execute capability improvements

  • Lead specific Business and organizational transformation projects in relation to commercial design and execution.

  • Conduct performance assessment in collaboration with the National Sales Manager

  • Identify capability training and development requirement, ensuring staff knowledge and skills are appropriate to their roles.

  • Facilitate and guide the team in performing technical/inter functional activities

  • Create and maintain the conditions that allow the team to be successful and to be able to work effectively by having a productive working environment

  • Ensure the team has the resources it needs and remove any impediments to the team in a timely manner.

  • Lead the ongoing professional development of the capability team and the promotion of best practice within the team.

  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring subordinates while providing ongoing instruction and support.

  • Ensure the Quality and Food Safety Policy to ensure the ISO standard implementation in the company. 

  • Implementing quality and food safety objectives and clearing non-conformists reported following audits.

Job Requirements

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE

Education and Experience:

  • MA or First Degree in Business Management, Marketing Management or equivalent

  • 6 - 7 years of FMCG experience
