Job Description
Job Summary
Provides support in the usage, accuracy, efficiency, security, maintenance, administration and development of computerized database(s). S/he provides support to all work units depending on the size and network connectivity. The jobholder supports the development and change of the data management plan and models consistent with the needs/direction of the bank. This position is responsible for maintaining the company’s database systems (currently MSSQL, IBM DB2 and Oracle) including backup, performance tuning, monitoring, security, capacity planning, critical events, and documentations. Microsoft SQL server or Oracle certifications are advantageous
Job Requirement
Qualification & Experience: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines with a minimum of four (4) years in Database administration or related fields; at least 1 of which preferably in the banking sector
Skills Requirement: Knowledge of computer operation is mandatory
