Job Description

As a Content And Design Specialist/ Content Development Specialist he /she is responsible for the development and management of content in all media projects while maintaining implementation of the content framework for different platforms supporting departments across Ashewa Technology Solution S.C.

These includes but not limited to,

·         Design, develop and implement content framework that align with the mission of Ashewa T.S.S.C. and actually increases brand awareness of the company.

·         Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets.

·         Set a strategy and planning for all contents.

·         Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board.

·         Oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement brand consistency and positive customer experience.

·         Research industry related topics, identify customers’ need and expectation to develop or recommend marketable contents, articles, blogs …

·         Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.

·         Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout.

·         Lead the process of content development from idea generation to planning up-to production or publication.

·         Liaise with the creative team and writers to ensure brand consistency.

·         Writing, editing and producing industry related contents, marketing copies, profiles, social media posts, blogs, press release and articles for various platforms.

·         Edit proofread and optimize written pieces according to SEO.

·         Use audience research to develop, present and lead user experience, design and content digital strategies for new systems, processes and interfaces.

·         Research and develop standards, operational practices and quality control processes associated with impact systems and communicate them internally.

·         Crosscheck and follow-up to ensure the content development process through coordinating content, marketing and digital department

·         Interview stalk holders, professional and change leaders to create and publish engaging content

·         Attend events like networking, marketing, talk shows, product launches and provide a cover story that aligns with Ashewa’ T.S.S.C'S's vision.

·         Proofread, edit and prepare proposals and other written documents

·         Translating contents, from English to Amharic and vise-versa.

Job Requirements

Qualification

  • BA/MBA in Media and Journalism; Marketing and Sales and Crafts Management

  • 6 years of direct experience for MBA holders and 8 years of direct experience for BA holders.

  • Working knowledge of Ethiopian Broadcasting Authority laws .

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational and stress management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to train and manage staff.

  • Ability to work with little to no supervision.
