Job Description
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Program implementation/management
· Provide psychosocial support for the community (mental Health education, Screening, Counseling, diagnosis and refer)
· Provide emergency psychosocial therapy to cases at working site.
· Provide onsite psychosocial training for health workers and community volunteers
· provide psychological counselling, psychologist interventions, support and engagement to individuals and to facilitate/lead group therapeutic activities.
· Conduct psychological assessments, manage casework, and make referrals as necessary
· Record and document relevant activities (e.g. case notes/files)
· work with the MHNT team members to deliver the service and contribute for good team spirit
· Work with, and support colleagues especially with social workers and case management officers.
· Network, liaise and communicate with assigned Health Facilities Health workers.
· Support and provide appropriate recommendation regarding best interest determination (BID) panel to guarantee best interest of the children.
· Advocate for legal and medical and other referral support services for beneficiaries.
· In collaboration with the project team and stakeholders prepare detail annual and quarters action plan and ensure the implementation.
· Closely work with project staffs and stakeholders in the course of project planning and implementation.
· Facilitate and ensure the involvement of children as primary stakeholders in all project work.
· Ensure preparation of timely and weekly, quality quarterly and annual project progress reports.
· Strictly respect the confidentiality of data, being the property of the project beneficiaries and SCI
· Ensure beneficiaries files/ data’s are properly put and locked.
· Respect the confidentiality regarding the content of interview during assessments.
· Produce timely progress reports, including both quantitative and qualitative information, on CP activities and input into regular situation reports.
· Identify and build links with other partners, ensuring that issues for mental health and psycho social support are raised and addressed.
· Comply with all relevant Save the Children policies and procedures with respect to Child Protection, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies
· Responsible for the overall project implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, or other related fields.
· Fluency in written and spoken local language and English.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
· 4 years of Experience working directly in training, facilitation, mental & Psychological First Aid (PFA and capacity building in MHPSS
· Experience in providing trainings on MHPSS interventions including Psychological First Aid (PFA), Basic psychosocial skills, Basic helping skill, Safe identification & referral to Mental Health, Wellbeing, and self-care activities, etc
· Thorough understanding of MHPSS programming & interventions
· Experience working in NGOs or in an emergency context
· Thorough understanding of case management and social work
· Experience in Psychological First Aid, Psychosocial Support programming and community mobilization
· Good communication skills with different stakeholders
· Ability to work under pressure
· Experience in coordination with Case Management team
· Dynamic, innovative, and able to take effective and timely decisions

Additional Note
Hardship allowance will be paid 50% of the basic salary for Female staff and 40% of basic salary for Male staff
