Job Description
Farm Africa is an international NGO founded in 1985, with a vision to ensure a prosperous rural Africa. It is a specialist development NGO working with smallholder farmers and forest communities, local governments, and the private sector in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. The organization is an expert in the fields of agronomy, livestock, natural resources management, and market engagement. With community engagement underpinning our approach, we design and implement sustainable solutions to rural poverty based on evidence and best practices.
Farm Africa currently wants to invite those eligible bidders for conducting terminal evaluation for Component 1: Central Rift Valley (CRV) Landscape Management, and Component 2: Majang Forest Biosphere Reserve Landscape Management Projects. The purpose of this final evaluation is to critically assess the project achievements against stated objectives, indicators and targets. In this terminal evaluation critical evaluation of how does the project implementation contributes to the achievement of both CRV and Majang project goals.
The aim of the terminal evaluation is to assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, coherence, impact and sustainability of the program/projects using the OECD/DAC evaluation criteria. The evaluation of this program/project will be conducted using OECD/DAC’s six evaluation criteria which are relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. The criteria and guiding questions are described as follows;

Qualifications of the Consultants
1. Bidders shall submit all the legal documents (renewed Trade License, Registration, TIN, VAT/TOT certificates)
2. A well trained and experienced technical experts who have MSC or PHD level qualification on improved bee keeping, honey bee colony management or bee hive management related field of study are relevant to this task.
3. Experience in conducting at least two studies and researches on improved bee keeping, honey bee colony management or bee hive management
4. Bidders shall clearly state their unit price and total price including VAT/ToT in ETB properly signed and stamped.
Interested bidders should submit their Technical and Financial proposals in two separate files duly marked as “Technical” and “Financial” proposals. The document must be delivered to the email ethprocurement@farmafrica.org on or before 5:00PM 5 Sep 2022. Late bids will be rejected.

Bid proposals will be opened by Farm Africa Procurement Committee. Qualified bidders will be considered based on their responsiveness to the requirements listed above, technical, and financial evaluation results. Finally, the winner will be notified through the firm’s address.
Farm Africa Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bids at any time without assigning any reason or reasons whatsoever.
