Experience, Knowledge & Competencies Essential

  • Bachelor (BA) or Degree from a recognized university/college in Accounting, Finance or other related areas that can add value to the job.

  • Minimum of 5+ years for BA holders or 6-7 years for Diploma holders in finance experience and project financial management, preferably working 2 years of experience in an international NGO.

  • Knowledge of and Eager to learn various accounting software with particular emphasis on the Oxfam financial management system.

  • Good command of computer skills (MS-word, MS-Excel) and other Internal software systems.

  • High-level of acquaintance comfort with internet-based research and electronic communications.

  • Results-oriented with accuracy and strong attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills, sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to work in a wide variety of cultural contexts

  • Strong organizational and personal management skills, with the ability to prioritise work issues to meet deadlines with minimal supervision and adjust to constantly changing situations while maintaining focus on delivery and follow-through
