Essential Functions

• Screen and evaluate technical documents associated with new or expansion agricultural projects as per the Bank’s checklist ;

• Conduct project site-visit and Identify forest category based on density and also check for the accessibility and suitability of the site for the intended project;

• Review screening comments generated by project appraisal Team and discus and forward comments;

• Check for fulfillment of requested technical documents as per the previously generated screening comments ;

• Review and generate technical comments on draft appraisal reports against clients’ proposals and requirements of the subject project;

• Carry out evaluation and valuation of land development activities which are already executed by the client and will be considered as in-kind equity contribution;

• Check and evaluate the required technical documents to be fulfilled before loan disbursement as an advance payment for land development works and generate a technical report following clients’ requests ;

• Evaluate pro forma invoices submitted for farm inputs, farm machinery & equipment, farm implements, vehicles and other equipment procurement requests and generate a technical report ;

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

• B.Sc. in Agricultural engineering and related.

Experience: 

• 5 years’ of experience in Agricultural engineer and related. 

Experience in:

• Technical exposure in irrigation schemes development and management,

• Machinery operations and management,

• Agricultural Machine supply and purchasing ,

• Agricultural Production process,

• Management of crops,

• Commercial farms ,

• Asset (buildings and civil works) valuation skill,
