Kegna Beverages S.C. is a beverages Manufacturing Industry established on April 1, 2017. The beverages green field project is located in Oromia Regional State in West Shewa Zone on the outskirt of Ginchi town while the project office is located at Elilly International Hotel new building 10th floor Kazanchis, Finfinnee, Ethiopia. The company will engage in producing quality alcoholic & non- alcoholic beer brands in the first phase while the 2nd phase expansion plan is to produce carbonated water, Juices and other portfolios. Hence, Kegna Beverages S.C. would like to invite competent and qualified candidates to apply for the following position:
Position Summary: the Commercial Manager is responsible to handle all sales and marketing activities of the company in bringing new idea for branding and shape the company’s sales and marketing strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop a sales plan for the beverages products – develop a comprehensive sales plan with marketing strategies for each product line, customer demographic analysis, sales forecasts, and growth strategies. The sales plan will also examine pricing structure, revenue goals, sales locations, customer attraction /retention strategies, advertising avenues, and sales team activities.
Create sales strategy – the sales strategy will explain the best way to position the beverages brand in the market.
Create sales forecasts – create and distribute sales forecasts to the other departments within the factory. This allows to adjust production levels and organize logistics.
Manage sales and promotional events – the company will occasionally run sales and promotional events in-house or at trade shows. The Commercial manager must ensure these events are well run and promote the company in the best way possible.
Develop relationships with key customers – relationships are very important in the beverages industry. The Commercial Manager must develop relationships with key customers to sell more products and ensure they remain happy.
Analyze customer demographics and market trends – the Commercial Manager will analyze the demographics of prospective customers. This information will be used for developing market strategies and new products. He /She will also analyze market trends to identify which kinds of products will be popular in the future.
Research competitors – competitor knowledge helps the brewery to develop products that are correctly promoted and priced to succeed in the marketplace. The Commercial Manager must investigate and analyze competitors to identify new sales opportunities for the brewery and other beverages.
Design and distribute marketing materials – he /she will work in conjunction with the sales and marketing teams to produce advertising and marketing materials. The Commercial Manager may also be required to work with third party advertising agencies. Once a plan for promotional materials has been developed, he/she must ensure it is correctly executed.
Supervise other staff – the Commercial Manager works closely with the sales and marketing team. He /She must ensure that the staff is working productively to generate sales and develop marketing strategies.
Present sales reports to management – he /she must present sales and marketing reports to upper management. These reports will range from marketing plans through to detailed sales analysis reports.
Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
Develop Customer Pricing Structures; develop risk assessments of services to work toward commercial goals.
Propose strategies on creating brand awareness and how the company can get high market share by coordinating marketing strategies with the management.
Prepare short –term and long-term operational plans and guidelines considered appropriate and necessary for the Department.
Recruit, train and manage sales and marketing teams.
Performs other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualification & Experience
Master’s /Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales Management, Management, Business Administration or related field;
More than 7/9 years proven experience in marketing and sales, preferably in Beverages Manufacturing companies. Experience of new product development is advantage.
Have a detailed understanding of branding and new product development
Ability to handle confidential information with care.
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong leadership, analytical and project management skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Fluency in Afaan Oromoo Amharic and English is required.
