Purpose of the job

The quality control supervisor will oversee inspection and testing of materials, process and products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength quality and endurance .also responsible for calibrate laboratory equipment to check apparatus for conformance to standard requirements.

• facilitating change to achieve continuous improvement in quality.

• providing assurance that Dega water quality assurance (DWQA)standards are being met.

• over viewing fresh produce quality at site level.

• to be the ‘champion ‘of improving fresh produce quality at Dega water.
  

Duties and responsibilities

• Perform verification on incoming ,in process and outgoing products.

• Coordinate the activities of workers who are involved in inspecting materials and ensure that they meet the quality standards specified by the company.

• Perform tests  on  products to  ensure  quality  standards  for the products are met.

• Direct the quality team  in effective  performance by determining  accountabilities , maximizing  effectiveness and ensuring  accurate results.

• Supervise and coordinate activities  of workers  engaged  in inspecting  incoming  materials , in process products and finished  products  to ensure  adherence  to company  quality standards and customer specifications.

• Expedite  daily  production output by assuring  timely flow of all quality control checks and corrections.

• Ensure accurate disbursement of all finalized products to the appropriate locations.

• Effectively communicate and document all major quality problems to respective individuals and ensure  closure  on resolution.

• Maintain quality management system, audit quality process for adherence to QMS.

• Monitor production , quality control and data integrity of  transactions completed  by  staff determining  sampling universe  ,reviewing efficiency and quality and balancing file assignments.

• Advise and consult with QC staff concerning reviews, regulations and operations  policies.

• Performs  quality control reviews of the QC  specialists.

• Ensure staff compliance  with the housing  authority’s  administrative  plan ,standard operating procedures  and regulations.

• Manage the day to day QC  process .this include  but is not  limited to extracting  data from legacy systems, uploading to share  point site ,analysis of error trends, ensuring program compliance and addressing challenges to findings.

• Assist in  developing guidance  procedure ,best practice protocol such as  checklists and guide book.

• Create and  manage the reporting process , protocol, criteria, and details including  the collection , formatting and organizing of staff reports.

• Advise on content for operational training courses toward ensuring that current error correction requirements are met.

• Completion of performance plans ,evaluations and disciplinary actions.

• Monitor and approve  staff time  sheets coordinating  time off.

• Promote  open communication among  teams ,departments and division.

• Ensure an uncompromising approach is taken to food safety by all employees; Health and safety requirements: -

Training

• Plan, organize and conduct quality employee training if necessary.
  

  Job Requirements

Education

• Minimum in degree level and have applied chemistry, chemical engineering, Food process engineering, food science back ground
  

Experience

• Minimum 4 years and above experience in Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry.
