Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia (HFE) is a world leading organization committed to the treatment and reintegration of patients suffering from Obstetric Fistula and the training and deployment of qualified midwives to prevent Obstetric Fistula and other childbirth injuries.

HFE, which was established in 1974 G.C by Drs. Catherine and Reginald Hamlin, has been caring for the women of Ethiopia for more than 60 years. Including our main Fistula Hospital in Addis Ababa, we have five regional Hospitals, Rehabilitation and Reintegration center and The Hamlin College of Midwives. We deploy midwives into rural health centers across the country and provide mentoring and other support services to these facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Major Duties and Responsibilities of Agriculturalist includes the following, but are not limited to:

• Attending Vegetable farm, Dairy/Poultry farm, Fruit farm etc.

• To train the beneficiaries on different agricultural enterprises, activities

• To collaborate with the re-integration and rehabilitation team to plan and execute training sessions formulated to build the capacity of the beneficiaries.

• To suggest ideas for improvement of production and new business ventures to generate more   

• To submit monthly activity reports for Desta Mender Manager

• To fulfil other roles associated with the main objectives of Desta Mender as instructed by the

• Desta Mender Manager.

• To perform any other work related duties as assigned.

Place of Work: Rehabilitation and Reintegration Program Center: Desta Mender, 17 km away from Addis Ababa- located in Oromiya region Burayu town- Tatek Industrial Area.
