Cybersecurity Administration Engineer

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Job Summary

• The Cyber Security Administration Engineer is responsible for establishing and implementing cyber security policy, procedures and standards within the bank's systems in line with the national cyber security strategy and industry standards to ensure proper use of the bank's systems and privileges for employees. In addition, the jobholder is responsible for overseeing the Bank's compliance, business continuity, fraud investigation, and cyber security awareness.

Job Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Software Engineering or any other equivalent field.

• Professional ICT qualifications such CISSP, SANS is an added advantage

Experience

• At least six (6) years of relevant experience.

Required Technical Competency

• In depth knowledge of server, clients, mobile operating systems and RDBMS with demonstrated understanding of security architecting of information systems in general.

• In depth knowledge of tools used to secure and test security of information systems.

• Demonstrated knowledge of threats and attack vectors as well as incident response and management.

• Strong vulnerability management experience.

• Relevant Risk Management Certification and knowledge.

• Solid knowledge of security standards, IT security regulatory and compliance regulations and standards.

• Knowledge of various programming and scripting languages (e.g., .Net, Java, Perl, C#).

• Knowledge of and practical experience with various Internet protocols (e.g., DNS, TCPIP, SMTP, HTTP, SSL.

• Strong understanding and knowledge of IT risk assessment, risk procedures, security assessment, vulnerability management, penetration testing.

•  Experienced Service Management professional.

• Experience of managing 3rd parties and 3rd party delivered services.

• Expert knowledge of ITIL disciplines.

• Understanding of IP networks traffic, firewalls, routing etc.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
