Job Description
Sabahar PLC is a textile company which produces hand woven textiles to sell locally and internationally. Sabahar Plc. would like to invite qualified and interested applicants for the Finance Manager position.
Job Summary:
Specific duties and responsibilities: the finance manager shall be accountable to the GM and be responsible for ensuring the company’s budget and all financial activities.
The Finance manager shall discharge the following responsibilities:-
Provide leadership to SB in terms of all financial aspects.
Manage and evaluate finance staff for proper and efficient regular responsibilities.
Prepare financial management planning and annual budget allocation with GM.
Ensure all financial transactions, statements; vouchers etc. are properly recorded on time.
Manage audit and prepare necessary documents for Auditors.
Develop format for inventory control system and follow its implementation.
Provide regular financial reports to GM as well as to annual general meeting.
Ensure financial policies are clearly communicated to staff.
Manage relationship with ministry of finance and ERCA.
Reports to: General Manager
Terms of Employment: Permanent
Job Requirements
Qualification
BA degree in Accounting with progressive 4 years related work experience (Finance Manager Position).
Experience from manufacturing company is preferable.
Female applicants highly encouraged.
Knowledge, skill and ability:
Demonstrated strategic planning abilities for financial health of a manufacturing company
Proven experience in controlling and managing a full set of accounts.
Good proficiency English and Amharic.
Demonstrated leadership as a department manager, team work and commitment to excellence.
