MEPO Contracting & Management Services PLC is a member Company of MIDROC INVESTMENT GROUP and established in December 2008 by the renowned investor Sheik Mohammed H. Ali Al-Amoudi. The Company has been engaged in the supply of construction materials, rental of construction equipment & construction of buildings.
We invite qualified applicant for the following vacant position:
Summary of duty & Responsibility
The main purpose of the job is to ensure compliance of project expenditures with the financial policies and procedures.
The position involves assisting and supporting administration tasks and coordinating programs that are related to the organization activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide adequate, timely and accurate financial information to project and Finance Services at Head Office;
Monitor and manage project budgets;
Prepare cash balance every time and report to Project Manager and Finance Services.
Prepare monthly income and expenditure reports and submit to the Project Manager and Finance Services at Head Office.
Manage Fixed assets of the project;
Prepare monthly payroll;
Prepare withholding tax payable schedule and fills formats of the tax authority every month for settlement before penalty day.
Prepare VAT schedule monthly and send to Head Office
Prepare monthly income tax schedule and fills formats of tax authority every month before the penalty date in order to compile Government regulations
Collect bank statement and advices, prepare bank reconciliation of project bank A/C and send to Head Office.
Maintain supporting documents and payment for both check payment and petty cash payment
Perform all related financial and administrative duties as required.
Participate in stock count and submit inventory reports to Head Office.
Maintain up-to-date stock records of the project
Identify variances among stock records financial services records
(Stock Cards) with Materials Management Services records (Bin Card) on regular basis, reports variances.
Check employee attendance sheet for controlling purpose and payroll preparation.
Keep employee documents who are assigned on the project.
Monitor Project employees and submit the necessary reports to
Human Resource Services at Head Office up on request.
Report weekly/monthly manpower status of the Project to Human
Resource Services at Head Office
Perform other related duties as required.

Education:
BA Degree in Accounting & Finance.
Work Experience:
3 years and above experience.
Computer Literate:
Peachtree Accounting, Excel, word
Language:
Amharic, Afan Oromo & English
