Job Description

Our Company SBG industry PLC seeks to hire competent, experienced and aspiring applicants to fill the following vacant position.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record the receiving of Purchased Stock Items according to each category of stock items

  • Record the issuance (transfer) of production input items to the production floor.

  • Record the consumption of production input items by the production department based on consumption reports.

  • Record the production of finished goods using the Production Delivery Notes (PDN).

  • Record the transfer of finished products to the finished goods warehouse using the Finished Products Receiving Notes (FPRN)

  • Record the transfer of finished products from the factory warehouse to other distribution warehouses of the company using the Finished Goods Transfer Delivery Notes (FGTDN)

  • Prepare Cost Build up Sheets of Goods In Transit (GIT) goods of Import Items.

  • Participate in the monthly, annual and handover (transfer to another custodian) stock takes of the company.

  • Reconcile stock records of warehouses with what is kept by finance.

  • Reconcile stock records of finance with periodic stock takes.

  • Reconcile cost buildup sheets with general ledger accounts of GIT Items.

  • Assist the preparation of accumulated cost allocation to each finished goods product types.

  • Assist the preparation of monthly flexible budgets and variance reports.

  • Performs other job related duties as required by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Required educational background & work experience: 

  • BA degree in Accounting, Computer Application and Peachtree Accounting and 2 years related work experience
