Job Description

Responsible for creating editorial boards and in charge for designing, editing, reviewing and publishing magazines, and supervises the day-to-day operations of the publication.

Job Requirements

• Responsible for the definition of topics and their rewriting inclusive of design and development of the content and respecting the editorial line by relying on the resources allocated (human, technical and financial).

• Organize, follow-up and supervise the production of all or part of the magazine according to the organization put in place.

• Responsible for overseeing the vision for the magazine.

• Edit and review written materials for magazine and online publication

• Reviewing written content for spelling and grammar errors.

• Approving the magazine's layout, design, style and tone.

• Return Proofs within timescales agreed with publication company

• Reply to any production queries or requests within timescales

• Providing suggestions for edits when needed.

• Deliver the expectations of all involved with the Magazine

• Maintain the magazine reputation in public forums including social media interactions

Educational Requirement:

Minimum of First degree in Journalism, Communication, literature and review and related fields with at least six /6/ years’ experience in designing, editing, reviewing and publishing magazines ideally in the business sector and also experience in getting sponsors that will be advertising in the magazine.
