Job Description
Junior Cost Accountant
Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking for an active and proactive Junior Cost Accountant candidate that is willing to transform its services to the next level. If you are experienced and have what it takes to tackle new challenges in a new environment then this job is for you.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Work on goods in transit accounts and maintains merchandise and fixed assets inventory records;
Reconciles stock ledgers with stock card records;
Determines cost and selling prices of merchandise commodities;
Coding and classification of materials receipts,
Work on accounts payable and receivable
Prepare monthly account reconciliations, assist with preparing tax returns
Other jobs as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements
Qualification
BA Degree in Accounting or Finance,
Must have experience in the manufacturing sector
1 or more years of accounting/finance experience
Ability to meet assigned deadlines
Must have good communication skills
Detail-oriented, good documentation skills and organized
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.
