Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Preparing formal letters for government offices both in English and Amharic

  • Following up company necessities: annual renewal of licenses, managing case handlers while they are dealing with Immigration, Investment Commission, National Bank, etc

  • Handling petty cash, updating and reconciling the petty cash register/books daily.

  • Handling administrative requests and queries

  • Organizing and scheduling appointments, Planning meetings

  • Support in facilitating accounts payable, travel requests, office supplies and stationery, general ledger, audits, monthly closings; and entering, updating, and running reports.

  • Facilitates the procurement and proper management of required supplies, materials, and equipment required for the project

  • Any other relevant activities or duties as deemed by her/his supervisor 

Job Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Business fields.

  • Experiences: minimum 2 years of progressive work experience in office administration, accounting, and financial management (a support letter from a previous organization is a must)

  • Must be very fluent in English comprehension (writing) because Reports are written in English

  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas to a variety of audiences.

  • Possess good computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook,

  • Active and demonstrated ability to deal with government offices both from the office and in person

  • Good communication skills
