Job Description

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Plans quality management program, develops quality and operational procedures in consultation with operational departments and assists their consistent implementation. Ensures that quality procedures are strictly adhered to such that they are evident to customers to build their confidence and credibility of the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning , organizing, directing, coordinating and supervising the overall activities of the service,

  • Designing and developing the system which enables to implement quality management system and their application throughout the company

  • Establishing quality management system review, evaluation and improvement systems.

  • Monitoring the preparation and implementation of quality policy, quality objectives, and quality procedure and quality manuals.

  • Preparing and conducting discussion forums on quality management issues for all employees,

  • Making sure the availability, understandability and maintenance of quality manuals,

  • Creating companywide awareness about quality policy, quality objectives and operations related to the effort to bring about continual improvement in the services delivered by the organization.

  • Arranging and conducting customers’ satisfaction study on quality policy and procedures,

  • Reporting performance of the service to the Managing Director & the Management Committee,

  • Perform other duties when assigned by the managing director

  • Responsible for identifying and ensuring the confidentiality of critical trade information related to his work and others that he comes across which are considered having effect on company business. Certainly has access to various sensitive information in the process of developing annual and long term plans.

  • Fully independent except periodic reporting and receiving of guidance from DGM for HRD, Marketing and Technology Development;

  • Internally his/her work is strongly related to all departments and services..

  • Externally he/she has work relations professional firms (consultants)

  • He/she makes maximum mental effort while planning and executing normal duties, regular and special report generation that the DGM requires. Report generation demands intensive visual and mental effort.

 Physical Effort.

  • He/she makes moderate level of physical effort while visiting production sites, moving around the compound of the factory for observation data collection etc.

Job Requirements

Education

  • BA management/ MBA

Experience

  • 8 years for BA and 4 years for MBA of relevant work experience

Knowledge, Ability and Skill

Knowledge

  • Extensive knowledge of Quality management systems

  • Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and practices of quality Management implementation and sustenance

Ability

  • Ability to analyze, appraise and organize facts, evidence, and precedents concerned in difficult and complex cases .Present such material in clear and logical form for oral or written presentation as briefs, opinions, orders, or decisions.

  • Ability to analyze legal documents and instrument.

  • Ability to plan, assigns, and reviews the work of subordinates.

Skill

  • Skill of using computers and peripherals
