Greek Community School is one of the leading schools in Addis Ababa that has served the community for more than a century. We are seeking experienced candidates to fill the following positions.
Job Summary
The School Nurse will treat students for medical issues, help prevent physical issues and disease, and coordinate routine health assessments.
Key Responsibilities and KPIs
Responsible for professional, medical treatment of students.
Responsible for disease prevention.
Assists in promoting programs on health education and immunization.
Maintains clinical records.
Provides emergency aid to students and school staff.
Assists teachers in instructing students in health and nutrition education.
Give first aid and treatment to the students & employee
Make a decision regards the first aid service at the playground
Responsible for sending patients to the hospital and providing information to the parents or guardians.
Good communication with parents and employees
Provide access to health services to all students throughout the school day.
Promote health care and safety by handling the daily health issue that arises at the school where they practice

Qualifications
Diploma in Nursing
Experience
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience preferably in academic institutions
Skills, knowledge, and abilities
Knowledge of medicine and nursing practices.
Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
Sensitivity and understanding.
Desire to help people.
Ability to work well with others.
Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
