Transistor Officer Manage the company's fleet and coordinate drivers, ensure that all teams have full complement of drivers at all times. Responsible for the overall accounting and planning, coordinating and managing the fleet including related general administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and follow  new incoming operation for subsequent follow-up

• Follow up of transport documents and giving appointment for drivers

• Applying for transport payments through our internal system.

• Liaise with operation manager and clients to give due attention for a top urgent operation.

• Plan and execute documentation and loading and or clearing estimated times and report

• Make reports of any estimated time of arrival or delay ahead of ample time to let clients have time or manage their expectation

• Contribute towards the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational objectives

• Make sure order entry, bookings; issues and documentation are handled with no errors.

• Provide our customers with adequate service to their logistics requirements

• Ensure customers are being served professionally at all times

• Maintain good relationship with team, customers and grow our business with them

• Prepare and send documents for Agents in any of the Ports in real-time

• Prepare freight-related payments and documents from ESL if the company needs to do so! And get ready the document on time

• Request customers to finalize documents that are on the going process and submit them immediately to the team in charge of the remaining document

• Install and maintain the Vehicle Management System (VMS); ensure that data is input regularly and that required reports are produced.

• Hire, train and supervise drivers.

Job Requirement

• 2 years’ experience in managing a transport department

• Bachelor Degree in any related field with relevance work experience

• Recognized ability to work as part of a team

• Significant experience in fleet management and / or logistics

• Understanding of policies and procedures governing the management of motorized assets and the contracting of transportation services

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Strong negotiating skills

• Demonstrated rational and logical thinking; ability to creatively and quickly find solutions to problems

• Proven ability to manage personnel, delegate and follow-up; must be able to “multi-task”

• Experience managing inventories (e.g., asset and spare part stock management)

• Fluency (writing, reading, speaking) in English

• Computer experience:  Windows systems, MS Word and MS Excel;

• Conscientious with excellent sense of judgment
