Job Summary
Responsible for all finance & accounting related matters of the company and preparation of reports for management and stakeholders and oversees the corporate support functions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for supervisor of team members and management of the accounts section.
Ensuring all the financial transactions are complete, accurate and are coded and posted on time.
On time preparation of management reports, special analyses and information reports and statutory financial statements.
Responsible for the budget setting process and follow up on actual financial performance versus budget
Follow up and ensuring on time filing of monthly tax returns.
Ensuring costings are done properly and on time and are used setting selling prices as applicable.
Manage relationships of the company with financial institutions, tax authority, etc.
Ensuring bank accounts are reconciled and reviewed on a set timeline.
Ensure that employees in the Finance Section receive proper training to enable them carry out their assignments effectively and efficiently.
Facilitates good communications between fiancé section employees and management through interpersonal and professional communication.
Create an environment in which strong financial practices are the norm and precondition of the company in day-to-day financial activities.
Perform other duties assigned by line manager.
Job Requirements
Educational and Experience Required
BA and MA/MBA in Accounting and Finance
8 Years’ experience for BA holders and 6 years’ experience for MA holders
Experience in manufacturing company managerial position.
Experience in ERP Accounting Software is preferable
Ability and Skill Required
Having a deep understanding of accounting, and tax.
Able to work on multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
Team spirit/working in a team.
Reporting skill
Deadline oriented
Confidentiality
Interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
