Job Description
Quantity Surveyor are responsible for managing all aspects of the technical, contractual, and financial side of construction projects during the project planning and execution period.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepares tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation
Reviews construction plans and prepare quantity requirements for construction activities
Tracks change to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
Prices/forecasts the cost of different materials needed for the construction of projects during the project execution period
Scrutinizes and evaluates construction, maintenance, and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals with the clients
Liaises with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors during the project construction period
Measures and values the work done on site based on the built quantity and specifications
Prepares reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents in relation to construction projects
Keeps track of materials and orders more when required and documents any changes in design and updates budgets
Establishes and maintains professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Travels from office to various sites and performs quantity and cost related activities as required
Performs other additional duties when assigned

Qualification Requirements
Education:
BSc in Civil Engineering , Construction Management or Diploma in Building Construction
Work Experience:
For BSc 6 years & for Diploma 8 years’ experience and working as Quantity Surveyor For BSc 3 years & for Diploma 5 years.
License:
Professional License is Mandatory
Language:
Good English communication skills both written and spoken.
