Job Description

Project Coordinators are responsible for ensuring the schedule, budget and details of a given task are well organized. They communicate with various departments to keep everyone on board about any changes to the project plan. In addition, they organize reporting, plan meetings and provide updates to project managers.

MEPO Contracting & Management Services PLC is a member Company of MIDROC INVESTMENT GROUP and established in December 2008 by the renowned investor Sheik Mohammed H. Ali Al-Amoudi. The Company has been engaged in the supply of construction materials, rental of construction equipment & construction of buildings.

Summary of duty & Responsibility

Project coordinator assists project managers with specific administrative tasks related to their assigned projects. He/she organizes and communicates all the details of projects and specific assignments to team members and serve as a liaison between those team members and the project manager

 Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Develops project strategies and ensures project deadlines are met within safest quality and expenses

  • Organizes, attends, participates in stakeholder meetings and also prepares minutes of meetings and accordingly prepares relevant reports

  • Chairs and facilitates meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members

  • Coordinates the schedule, budget, issues and risks in relation to the execution of the projects

  • Monitors project progresses and generates project status reports for project managers and stakeholders

  • Assists with resource scheduling so that the project team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks

  • Schedules staff meetings and facilitates consistent communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle

  • Manages project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement as directed by the project manager

  • Executes a variety of project management administrative tasks such as staffing, termination, billing and bookkeeping

  • Supports team members when implementing risk planning and mitigation strategies

  • Oversees technical, financial, contractual issues that potentially restricts the progress of the projects and takes proactive actions 

  • Facilitates lateral and vertical communications among the project team so that a smooth flow of information will be established within the project team

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Education:               

  • BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management    

  • 8-10 years’ experience and working as Project Coordinator 4 to 6 years.

  • Professional License is Mandatory

  • Good English communication skills both written and spoken.

  • Basic Computer:

  • Microsoft Office Tools

  • MS/Primavera Project /Planner Software,
