Evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, and preparing reports
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
Review quality of purchased products
Enter order details into the internal database
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
Stay to date with industry trend
Required skillset
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices
Experience with purchasing software
Understanding of supply change procedures
Analytical skills, ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysis
Negotiating skills
Time management skills
Multitasking
Detail-oriented
Effective computer skills with Microsoft office, excel and word
Proficient in English
Willing to learn and adapt
Trustworthiness and commitment
Qualification
BA in logistics, business administration or related fields
