Job Description

Customer Service Team Leaders oversee and motivate Customer Service teams in order to improve business performance. Some of their duties are recruiting employees, training staff, analyzing inquiries and developing new strategies and procedures

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Working with the operations team to deliver on customer shipments, ensuring operational standards as well as all monthly/quarterly/annual KPI’s are met.

  • Ensuring customers served by the team are regularly updated on the status of their files

  • Visiting existing customers to assess their needs and ensuring they are satisfied with the services delivered to them

  • Motivate and support other team members in meeting their operational goals

  • Regularly producing reports for the benefit of management.

  • Coordinating the efforts of the workers under his/her supervision.

  • Recommend ways of improving operational performance

  • Involving in recruiting, training, coaching and managing performance

  • Handling administrative matters associated with the position.

  • Carry out similar to the above activities whenever instructed by his/her supervisor

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Logistics and supply chain management or a similar area of study and 4 years of relevant experience. Out of which two years at the managerial/Supervisory level.

  • First Degree in another field of study and 6 years of relevant experience out of which three years at the managerial/Supervisory level. 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of the packing, moving, and relocations business operations

  • Have a good Leadership skill

  • Ability to manage own workload effectively and support team where necessary

  • Outgoing, articulate and positive personality

  • Good analytical skills

  • Good Organizational & Interpersonal skills

  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbally and the ability to effectively handle and resolve customer queries / complaints.

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • Set examples to team members in areas of personal character, commitment, organization, professionalism and work ethics

  • Resilient team player who leads from the front and can adapt well to a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • 2nd Grade Driving License
