Summary of Job:

The Public Health Specialist will be responsible for coordination and implementation of a health and nutrition projects. The successful candidate will provide technical support to all projects related to health and nutrition, including design development of M&E system and provide capacity building activities to clients. Take part as a team member and/or as team leader on project evaluation, baseline survey and diagnostic studies on health related projects. In addition, the Health and nutrition specialist will oversee the day-to-day technical aspect of the projects, including the provision of technical support to program implementation in the field and technical inputs; and data analysis processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and support related to Research Design and studies, Project Monitoring and Evaluation systems.

• Responsible for ensuring finalization of high quality deliverables for clients.

• Organize and prepare timely reports on projects.

• Support new business development as required.

• Represent the company in external meetings as required.

Term of employment: One year contract with possibility of extension.

Job Requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Must have Doctor of Medicine (M.D) plus (+) Masters Degree in Public health or PHD in related field.

• 10 years of professional work experience in implementation Research & Monitoring and Evaluation of health and nutrition programs.

• Ability to provide supportive supervision, staff development, mentoring and capacity building.

• Experience with monitoring and evaluation processes and Research background is desirable.

• Must be a team player and have the ability to work cross-culturally.

• Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
