Job Description
KAKI PLC is an official dealer and assembler of ISUZU in Ethiopia. It is also engaged in different business lines including import, export, metal fabrication, after sales services, and cargo freight transport operations. The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Assistant Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position:
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to provide assistance to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on all strategic business matters of the company. He/she is also responsible to make schedules and organize meetings for CEO, prepare agendas and presentations to be discussed on meetings of the CEO.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the CEO with the overall executive leadership of the company to ensure that the company meets its business goals and objectives.
Assist in developing a high-quality business strategies and plans.
Support the CEO in developing and monitoring implementation of operational plans.
Assist the CEO in the process of monitoring all operations and business activities to ensure achievement of desired business results.
Work with the CEO in taking a high-quality investment decision to advance the business and increase profits.
Support the CEO in ensuring that the company management and organizational structure are fit for purpose.
Coordinate with all senior managers to ensure adherence to legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
Engage effectively across all functional operations to ensure vigorous processes are in place to meet performance targets.
Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
Oversee the process of effective information analysis to support strategic decision- making processes.
Assist the CEO in fostering a positive relationships business partner to enhance the likelihood of boosting business opportunities.
Analyze problematic situations and propose solutions to CEO that ensure company survival and growth.
Recommend future business strategies and directions.
Support the CEO to ensure that audit recommendations are implemented in a timely manner.
Review and monitor the organizational operational and strategic risk management frameworks and activities; and provide report to CEO for further action.
Support the CEO to ensure that strategy is effectively translated into organizational and team objectives and resources are appropriately allocated accordingly.
Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.
Required Number : 1(One)
Qualification : BA or MBA in management or related field
Work Experience : 10 years for BA graduate and 8 years for MBA in related role
Skills and Abilities:
Proven knowledge on financial planning and management.
Ability to build good relationships among company and its stakeholders.
Good Knowledge and adequate experience in Corporate Governance.
Proven negotiation skills.
Proactive, good analytical skill and problem-solving.
Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
Adequate business knowledge, managerial ability, sound judgement, ability to interact and work effectively with others.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Computer skill, excellent written and oral communication skills, English language proficiency.
