We are looking for a Sales Trainer to design and deliver sales programs for our sales agents' teams. This will include conducting a skills gap analysis, preparing learning material, and evaluating results after each training session. For this role, you will work closely with our sales team to identify challenges they face on the job and recommend ways to increase productivity. Ultimately, you will help increase the overall performance of our sales teams and ensure they have the skills to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Create training curricula and estimate the budget required to create it

2. Develop material required for training for example outline, handouts, marketing materials, etc.

3. Conduct training sessions for new and current sales agents both in the office and rural regions

4. Develop new approaches and techniques for making improvements in training programs

5. Collect feedback from trainers and trainees and identify the issues they had during the process

6. Generate results and measure the performance of trainees after the session

7. Hire a new sales force

8. Coordinate with external trainers and Green Scene's sales team

9. Maintain and update records of training material

10. Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends and demands of a corporate sales environment

11. Work on product promotion and social media promotional campaigns

Job requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Sales and marketing or a relevant field

2. Three years of proven work experience as a Sales Trainer or similar role

3. Experience in a sales position is a plus

4. Ability to manage the full training cycle, including training planning and reporting

5. Basic knowledge of solar equipment and installations

6. Hands-on experience with social media platforms and basic Microsoft Office suite

7. Excellent organizational skills and communication skills

8. Solid communication and presentation ability

9. Ability to travel and work in field sites (rural off-grid areas of Ethiopia)

10. Additional certification in training is a plus

11. Should be self-motivated & able to demonstrate a drive for results with a professional approach

12. Qualified female applicants are highly encouraged

Fluency in both Amharic and English oral and written communication. Knowledge of other local languages is a plus.
