Purpose:

• Under  close Supervision, carries out any electrical maintenance works ,ensure  generators, compressors and all electrical equipment's are functioning normal, operates electrical cabinets,  electrical maintenance and regular service on electrical lines and equipment's, instruments, participate in medium and major maintenance and overhaul work.
  

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Inspects  electrical works, facilities and all electrical maintenance work and identifies repair and maintenance work required; read electrical drawings and interpret, can carryout breakdown maintenance by less supervision

• Follow repair and maintenance of electrical works, facilities, daily weekly, monthly maintenance activities to be performed. 

• Actively works on electrical repair and maintenance activities, prepares plans  for maintenance of activities  electrical works in close collaboration with his/her Line Manager.                                                                                                           

• Conducts  maintenance of electrical work on Gears ,motors, electrical panels, compressors, generators, pneumatics system, sensors, electrical cabinets and its equipment's;                                                                        

• Keeps  Generators, other machineries ,equipment ,tools and work place clean, orderly and conducive; handles spare parts, equipment, tools and maintenance materials and consumables properly.                                                                                                     

• Complies with established working practices ,procedures and EHS systems ,procedures and regulations,

• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

Job Requirements

Education:

• College Diploma in  Electricity or Electronics

Work experience:

• 2 years work experience in electrical maintenance activates

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Collective Labor Agreement, Internal Regulations & safety policies of the company, Reading capability of electrical drawings, using electrical tools.

Skills:

• Electrical maintenance and repair activities, Good knowledge of  motors ,fans, compressors, air filters ,Generators ,  Electrical maintenance including, all electrical materials.
