Under  general Supervision, performs  all preventive, planned and unplanned mechanical maintenance and overhaul work on primary filter house, loading line, press and compressors ; ensures adequate and timely supply of spare parts and maintenance materials and consumables.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Performs all preventive ,planned and unplanned mechanical maintenance and overhaul work on filter house ,picking line , Generators, thresher, conveyers ,motors ,gears, hydraulic unit, winnower, shakers, dust suckers, compressor ,forklift  etc. as per work order; Performs welding work using different welding techniques and tools;

• Ensures all maintenance work is done according to schedule , established norms and standards; Minimizes maintenance down time by means of efficient and effective maintenance system and Keeps records of daily performance indicating such relevant data as time consumed , spare part used, manpower deployed etc.;

• Gives technical advice and demonstrate operational procedures to operators as required; supervises , checks , tests and accepts mechanical maintenance work done by others in-house or externally;

• Ensures spare parts, tools , equipment, material and consumables are handled and used properly ,effectively and economically moreover 5S is applied;

• Complies with established working practices ,procedures and EHS systems ,procedures and regulations; Ensures working area cleanness, hygiene & proper setup& arrangement.

Job Requirements

Education:

• College Diploma in  General  Mechanics.

Work experience:

• 4 years  work experience in mechanical maintenance

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Collective Labor Agreement, Internal Regulations & safety policies of the company, knowledge of mechanical tools.
