Purpose of the Statement

 FSR Driver - is responsible for providing a safe and reliable delivery service and for transporting company product from company warehouse to Distributor, Key accounts and customers' warehouse.

 Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that the Truck is in good operating condition by testing the brakes, tires, lights and other components, complete the pre-trip inspection on a daily basis.

• No driver will report to work or drive a truck while under the influence of alcohol

• Be attentive to the traffic and weather conditions, stay on company and ensure the safety of passengers.

• Uphold a positive image of the company by applying good and safe driving habits.

• Ensure that the truck is washed ones a week, inside and outside, and sweep the truck empty the bins.

• The truck should be parked in a safe manner and dedicated parking area.

• Ensure that his/her proper driver’s license is valid at all times.

• Keeps tools, accessories, spare tire and tire cards always on the vehicle, & makes them ready and available for inspection (inventory).

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to distributors or clients in a safe, timely manner.

• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.

• Counting and receiving products correctly

• Properly sign/handover receipts and other related documents received from the company to the customer.

• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.

• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.

• Take special care in delivering weak and products that require care.

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes

• Before leaving the company, make sure have all the necessary documents such as invoice, DO and get pass.

• Collect necessary documents when needed

•  Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from distributor/clients.

• Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade 8 and Dry I/II or level four driving license.

• 2 years of experience within a multinational/local corporation in a similar position

• Experience in driving in all parts of Ethiopia
