Job Description
Managing and controlling the road construction and the compound drainage system.
Setting out, leveling and surveying the site.
Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
Managing, monitoring and interpreting the design and specification.
Efficiently manage manpower and machineries.
Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
Liaising with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations.
Liaising with consultants and their representatives (engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site.
Preparing detail reports as required.
Job Requirements
Qualification
BSc in civil engineering, Construction Management or related field of study and above 5 years of work Experience is mandatory.
Requirements and skills
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Good knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with construction/ project management software
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities
