Job Description
Key roles and responsibilities
Strategically plan and manage the department’s overall activities
Supervise, coach and train the department’s workforce
Oversee civil and electromechanical engineering projects
Oversee the detailed planning and effective implementation of projects
Develop comprehensive plan for maintenance and repair that is responsive to the business needs of the company
Build the necessary team for efficient repair, maintenance, and management ofthe company’s automotive resources, buildings, and other assets
Lead the preparation of TOR, bid documents, work order and related documents for any outsourced engineering works of the company
Lead the evaluation of technical documents
Develop SOPs for the department’s activities
Supervise the company’s outsourced Projects to ensure outcomes, timing, budget and other associated objectives are met in accordance with best practice
Terms and benefits
Permanent upon successful completion of probation period
Salary: 20,060 birr
Benefits: health coverage, car, monthly fuel allowance of 200 liters, monthly housing allowance of 7,000 bir
Job Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or relevant field
A minimum of 10 years’ work experience, 3+ year experience leading or supervising a team
Sound knowledge of asset management, design and planning processes
Proven analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven project management ability
