Job Description
Key roles and responsibilities
Definition and review of info security strategy, policies and goals.
Implementation and coordination of info security control strategies and measures to secure computing network Security operations and cyber intelligence.
Real-time monitoring of info security threats, assessment of vulnerabilities and risks.
Monitoring of network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
Coordination of resolution measures to info security incidents, incl. escalations, communications within involved teams, resolution status reporting.
Planning, purchase, and roll-out of security hardware and software.
Education of employees across the organization on the topic of security software and best practices for information security.
Identity and access management (e.g. management of authorized access to restricted data)
Terms and benefits
Permanent upon successful completion of probation period.
Salary: 11,978 birr
Benefits: health coverage, monthly Transport allowance of 2,000.00 birr, monthly housing allowance of 1,500.00 birr
Job Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a IT-related field.
4+ years of experience in cyber security role.
Knowledge of information security frameworks and tools).
Ability to educate non-technical staff about security measures.
Programming and coding skills, knowledge of routing, authentication, VPN, firewall and intrusion prevention.
Professional information security.
Those who have certification CISSP or CCNA Security will be given priority.
