Medical Lab technicians, also known as laboratory technicians, support laboratory-based scientific investigations by carrying out routine technical tasks and experiments. Lab technicians work with laboratory equipment to analyze samples or substances, they conduct tests on those samples or substances, and report on their findings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-      Specimen Collection including phlebotomy, Handling, and Processing.

-      Prepare and perform analyses of laboratory samples as per the clinic SOP.

-      Store specimens in proper place and temperature; discard specimens that exceed retention time.

-      Ensure all specimens meet the referral test requirements.

-      Setup, operate and maintain instruments and other equipment used in performing lab tests.

-      Record and report the result to the clinical team.                            

-      Order supplies and materials as required; maintain records.

-      Setup laboratory media/equipment.

-      Maintaining, calibrating, cleaning, and testing the sterility of the equipment.

-      Participate in further education and train new staff.

-      Actively pursues ways to improve laboratory efficiency.

-      Prepare report as per the clinic standard and requirement on time.

-     Support the company as needed and directed by the supervisor/manager

 Job Requirements

-      Health professional with Licensing Certificate

-      Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills

-      Good English.

-      Basic Computer Skills.
