ICT (Information and Communications Technology) project officers plan, organise, direct and coordinate quality ICT projects. They are responsible for developing timelines, setting budgets and assigning tasks within information technology or telecommunications projects.

• Manage Data Center Infrastructure related work scopes effectively

• Supervise Data Center and IT Infrastructure project design and Implementation

• Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders and assisting the sales team in meeting and making presentation to clients

• Coordinating project team and internal/external resources requirements as per project needs

• Prepare and submit project contracts and quotations as per client requests

• Supervising tender processes; design, submission, and review including preparation and submission of technical proposals and RFPs

• Develop project charters, delivery plans, and budgets

• Identify prime risks and limitations within the project plan and design and implement risk mitigation              plans

• Provide regular technical training for both internal and external customers as and when needed to educate, enlighten or broaden the understanding of product/solution usage

• Manage multiple projects at the same time

• Work with external vendors as needed

• Monitor and report project progress on a daily basis via email

• Optimize and improve work processes (IT Department)

• Managing large and diverse teams to ensure successful project delivery

• Contributes to technical feasibility in development of strategic plans for the organization

• Accountable for shaping the project to drive optimum delivery of outputs, including planning at                levels appropriate to the complexity of the project, structuring and sequencing appropriate sets                of tasks/activities

• Supervising project staff, consultants, vendors and suppliers

• Any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by line manager/supervisor as and when needed

• Send daily and weekly work plan and report via email to line manager or immediate supervisor

• Ability to configure and manage IT related equipment including servers, switches, routers etc.

• Ability to negotiation price effectively to the advantage of the company with all stakeholders

• Highly experienced with IT related bid document (technical/financial documents) preparation

 Required qualifications;

• Computer related qualification (1st Degree/Masters)

• Minimum 5 years working experience in Infrastructure and data center projects implementation

• Strong knowledge and experience in IT related project implementation

• Demonstrated ability to manage challenging project team while providing vision and developing tactical goals and directions

• Ability to lead and manage third party IT support teams, understanding and enforcing contractual obligations, and managing both operational and financial aspects of a third-party agreement.
