Job Description
Chef Mechanic diagnoses problems in vehicles or equipment. Schedules and assigns or performs general overhaul and repair work on light and heavy vehicles and equipment such as trucks, tractors, backhoes, graders, etc. Writes repair orders, scheduling vehicles for repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
Job Requirements
Ability to do preventive maintenance
Assist Operators by Advising and servicing Machen on time.
Ability to avoid downtime on Machen’s (Excavator, Dozer, Roller, Mixer)
Ability to Overhaul diesel engines.
Ability to troubleshoot Mechanical Excavator Control valve and reseal
Ability to maneuver computer part system
Ability to troubleshoot and repair
Analysis Machine status and preparation (outline) service parts for stock
Very good communication skills both in Amharic and English
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Machinery Mechanics or equivalent from recognized University or Technical College, plus.
Relevant Work Experience
Minimum 4 years work experience for B.Sc. Degree or 10 years work experience for Diploma graduate on repairing Mechanical system, components & Ability to Overhaul diesel engines.
